Michelle Tohounde

Michelle Tohounde, CPA, (she/her) is a Controller at Diverge Finance Cooperative. Michelle brings more than 10 years in diverse tax, financial accounting, and business consulting experience to her role, including Non-profit Accounting and Human Resources. In addition to being a savvy accounting professional, Michelle has a broad experience in both for profit and nonprofit organizations especially those dedicated to causes that advance Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Proficient in two languages (English and French), Michelle holds two master’s degrees, the first in accounting and the second in human resources. Michelle is dedicated to helping clients achieve business success by helping them establish practical financial processes. Focused on services for small to medium sized businesses, Michelle is committed to delivering financial services that meet each client’s unique objectives.
